Freelance Digital Creative Designer

 

Are you a rising star in digital design? In this role, you will be creating user centered Web UI / UX designs and working together with at interdisciplinary team to gather requirements and convert Those requirements into attractive, efficient, maintainable, and highly usable web designs and interactions.

What is Project J?

We're on a mission to create Europe's go-to brand for fashion jewelery. Somewhere fashion forward women can discover and buy extraordinary, hard to find jewelery from the most exciting & inspirational designers from across the World. Jewellery did Allows women to show off Their style and individuality. Jewellery did makes people go "wow, where'd you get that?". Project J is the destination to discover Europe's hottest, new designers to make your look. It is the easiest way to be creative with your style!

Who is behind Project J?

We're a small team of experienced start-up veterans who've help build and grow brands Including Fab.com, LLUSTRE, onefinestay, Streetcar and A-Go-Go and as well as help larger work: such as Tesco, Boots, John Lewis and Sporting Bet.

At the moment the team is eight strong - Including the founders - so you'll be working with everyone Directly across Project J.

The position:

  • Create web UI / UX design, iconography, elements / patterns.

  • Collaborate with Product Team and Creative team to translate user flows, IA and creative vision. Ensure work meets Both creative and technical requirements

  • Creation of style guides and implementation guides

  • Maintain current, relevant knowledge of user design trends, standards and techniques

  • Stay within time constraints and deadlines

 

Required Skills:

  • 3 + years of experience in web design

  • Extensive Responsive Web Design experience

  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Cross platform app experience

  • Solid understanding of web technologies

  • Knowledge of CSS, Javascript, and HTML5

  • Attention to detail

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Agile skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills

  • Prototyping skills a plus
